From an anxious wait for the bride right through to a food fight – What is not to love about Christina & Barry’s wedding at St Andrews Town Hotel if you know an answer to this – tell me because I couldn’t find it! I first met Christina and Barry in Boston Tea party in cheltenham for their pre-wedding consultation where we made some epic battle plans for the big day and generally got to know each other. Most of my reasons are in a blog post I wrote a while back about how important it is to get to know your wedding photographer – If you haven’t read it check it out here! It was going to be a small family and friends affair just after Christmas which would be held at St Andrews Town Hotel in Droitwich, it’s a really lovely hotel which I’m looking forward to returning to again to shoot more weddings!
Most of the wedding party were waiting patiently for the bride to make her epic entrance with the girls, you could see Barry getting a little nervous but this all subsided once he saw Christina walk down the aisle! You’ll see from the photos how excited he was about the whole thing. Even more so when they all sat down to have their wedding breakfast which promptly turned into a food fight – pretty epic, if slightly un-nerving way to shoot a wedding, having to dodge incoming missiles! This is why I love this job, you get such a variety along with EPIC couples and I just love them all to bits! Can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
