A barn wedding not to forget! I had so much fun shooting Ania & Tom’s wedding at North Hidden Barn in Hungerford I really didn’t want to leave. After their engagement shoot in London it was a really good opportunity to get to know them and find out the plans for the big day! I arrived at the venue super early as I wanted to get some shots of the place before people started to arrive and I’m glad I did. North Hidden Barn looked pretty exceptional – literally hidden away! Once I got the shots we needed, I headed over to the bridal party and capture the girls getting ready and even managed to get some shots of the groom and his best men in there epic wedding suits! – This is where I first met Sam & Louise! Check out their Field and Forests Wedding!
Once the ceremony had been nailed, the party really begin! You could smell the hog roast cooking away whilst everyone got involved with the games on hand whilst the boys got the ball and gloves out, others played a cheeky game of rock, paper scissors and everyone else just chilled out in sunshine! Once the food arrived (as it started to rain) the bottles of Vodka started to flow (Ania’s side of the family are Polish, man they know how to party!) until I found my break to get the bride and groom alone for a quick portrait session. – Basically some time to chill out together away from it all whilst I took some photos of that little moment of being able to relax a little!
After a good solid few hours of partying (the guests, not me!) I had all the shots we wanted so I joined the party for a quick drink before heading home saying my fondest goodbyes to North Hidden Barn until next time! – This is the one wedding I absolutely regret not staying for having had the invite from the bride, groom and family! – Will never do that again!
Check out the photos of the day, super relaxed and very colourful! Also, don’t forget to check out Ania & Tom’s engagement shoot we did in London!
