I always look forward to shooting a wedding, it why it makes it the best job, well, pretty much ever! It made it even more exciting that I knew I was finally going to get to shoot a Ludlow castle wedding – A CASTLE!! I rocked up and started taking some wider location shots and scoping out some places to take some posey shots. It being a Ludlow castle wedding I was pretty spoilt for choice and made my own little mental shot list. This is somewhat unusual as I don’t normally do it to this extent but as this was a very short intimate little wedding I wanted to have a shot list at the very least in the back of my head.
I met Ryan in the main room along and pretty much got straight to shooting some wedding photos, seeing as that’s what I was there for obviously. It actually turned out to be epic for a good few reason. One of those on the basis I found out Ryan and Alice are both Wrestlers – they win coolest profession award almost instantly! There were both super wonderful to take photos of and really weren’t phased by having a camera pointed at them – why would they, they’re wrestlers and rock solid!
We all took up our positions and Ryan waited patiently for his bride to be to arrive. It was such a lush ceremony and I love the reactions to everyone seeing each other for the first time on the day!
After the ceremony we ventured into the main room and had a celebratory drink and took some photos – the light was amazing! Ludlow castle has some stunning big windows and is an incredibly grand backdrop to get hitched!
We also had a mini bouquet throw which kept me on my toes! Check out the photos below to see how you rock a wedding, especially a Ludlow Castle wedding! If you planning on getting hitched and want a rather spectacular medieval wedding then check out Ludlow Castle
