So I decided to do some experiments with my last couples portrait session, namely some tricks I learnt for the wonderful Wojtek Chrapek – I went to see him for a workshop which I’ll probably create a separate post about as it almost definitely deserves one!

Luckily Emily & Rob were more than happy to be my guinea pigs which was perfect! We started by going to Cheltenham Race Course as it was a prime location to walk the dogs – They have a retriever called Gem and an beagle called Bramble but also brought their parents new puppy Freddy along. As if to make life even harder for myself I thought I may as well add to mix and bringing my beagle Molly along!

Once we got to a good spot everyone got into their positions and I snapped away – then the smoke bombs came out for some added extra colour – when the wind died down enough that is!

After the racecourse I really wanted to take some photos at a place I’ve driven past some many times and my perfect couple were well up for it – Told you. Perfect! I really wanted to try some super urban settings and I think I found my favourite – namely because the colours are epic!

Let me know what you think I’m keen to hear your thoughts!

If you haven’t seen some of my other engagement shoots, check them out, here’s Sarah & Aaron’s Bristol engagement shoot!
