I do love a good barn wedding. So you can imagine my utter joy when Amy & Matt got in touch to discuss there Cripps Barn wedding. Cripps Barn will always have a special place in my heart being part of the Cripps&Co wedding venues. (We got married in one of them, won’t tell you which but it was beyond perfect!)

Cripps Barn Weddings

The Cripps Barn wedding venue is a very special place. You know it as soon as you get to the end of the drive. Then getting hit somewhat abruptly in the face with that absolutely classic Cripps Barn smell of the food being cooked! It always makes me smile and equally hungry!

The Ceremony

Amy and her bridal party were getting ready at her parents house whilst Matt was at Cripps Barn with the boys adding the final touches. We arrived at the venue in typical winter wedding fashion. Rain! No biggy at Cripps, beautiful light, offset with the incredible floral set up and roaring fire. Once everyone was in their seats with Matt waiting patiently at the front, it was time for the ceremony, and what a ceremony. Tears, laughter and a fist bump all in one sitting, it really is so special being asked be a couples Cripps Barn wedding photographer!

The Party

It wasn’t long before the speeches arrived followed by the part, and what a party – the crowd went wild as you’ll see, really was a great day and wonderful evening with Amy & Matt! We even managed to brave the rain and get some shots outside – even shedding some colour on the venue itself!
